Her song is a must in all Ramcosa meets. Dr Diwakar (1969) is a talented writer and actor. His many college magazines are real pieces of art. Dr Somasekhar (1971) is a versatile stage actor.

Our college is located in the earstwhile orphanage building of the Maharajah of Pithapuram who under the guidance of Sri Raghupathi Venkata Ratnam Naidu, gave shelter to and saw took care of the inmates through their education without restrictions to caste or religion - a revolutionary idea in those days. He never called it an orphanage and preferred to call it 'Karunalayamu'.

Dr Sivaji (1972, who passed away recently) is an avid Rangarayan and a fatherly figure in Ramcosa. Dr SSC Chakra Rao (1968) is a dynamic leader. He was past President of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists - National, and pioneered the Indian Resuscitative guidelines. Dr A V Krishnam Raju (1966) former Principal of RMC, and former Vice Chancellor of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences. He is an active old student and a bridge between the NRIs and RMC. Dr Kamineni Srinivas (1965) is a passionate Rangarayan and a pillar of strength to Ramcosa.

Dr Nimmagadda Upendranadh (1961) is a founder director of NRI Medical College, Mangalagiri and a prominent donor to Ramcosa house. Dr Bhaskara rao Bollineni (1974) is the founder of KIMS Super specialty hospital, Hyderabad and owner of KIMS Medical college, and GEMS Medical college Vijayanagaram. Dr Bhaskara rao Ganni (1974) is the Managing Director of GSL Medical college, President of All India private Medical colleges association, and the Organizing Chairman of Ramcosa Reunion 2019.

Dr Mutyala Satyanarayana Murthy (1962), Dr Lokeswararao Edara (1976), and Dr Vishnu Kalidindi (1974) are NRI alumni who are always thinking of and enquiring about RMC and doing academic activities and giving donations to trusts. and Family members of Dr Moturu Bhanu Sankar Prasad (1961) established the Dr M Bhanu Prasad Memorial Trust through which academic and philanthropic activities are done in and out of RMC. Our college Auditorium is named after Dr Bhanu Prasad.

Dr M V V Anand (1982) the present Secretary of Ramcosa, is a multi faceted artist. The last three souvenirs of Ramcosa reunions are a glowing testimony to this. Dr Pullarao (1962), Dr Veeranna chowdary (1973), and Dr U Sudhir (1978, present RMO of GGH) are versatile stage artists. Dr Machiraju Ramachandrarao (1966) is a prodigious artist. His drawing of Mahatma Gandhi adorns the wall of the Principal's chambers.

Together, they are taking the college forward in academics and are a big support to Ramcosa in it's activities for the college.

Dr M V Raghavendra Rao (1977), recipient of Vydya Ratna title and the first Rangarayan to become Superintendent, GGH, Kakinada. He taking the hospital to new heights with his adept management, helped by Dr T Sriramachandra Murthy, Civil Surgeon RMO (1974) and Dr U Sudheer (1978) RMO.

Dr Jaganmohan Kakarala (1958) is the President of AAPI (American Association of Physicians of Indian origin) and donated the RO Plant in the RMC, Men's hostel. Dr Jonnalagadda Sudhakar (1973) is the present President elect for AAPI and donated liberally to the Founders' corner. Dr Lokeswara Rao Edara (1976) worked as President TANA Foundation, is an active member of RMCANA, and involves himself almost on a daily basis in social charity activities, student education, and improving the system of education, evaluation, and educational opportunities.

Dr Sundarasiva Rao (now aged 100 years) was a most popular and student friendly Principal. Madam Dr Lakshmi Naidu, HOD of Microbiology was a most compassionate and awe inspiring teacher. Dr S S Benarjea, HOD of Pathology was an all smiling, loving professor.

Sri Rao Venkata MAHEEPATI GANGAdhara Ramarao - the earstwhile Maharaja of Pithapuram donated 11.0 acres of land in which the college was started.The then Chief Minister of AP Sri NEELAm SANJEEVA reddy gave the consent to it's establishment.The college was named after Late Sri Pendyala Sriramachandra 'VENKATA' krishna 'RANGA' rao and Sri Mullapudi 'VENKATA' 'RAYA'du - on whose name the original seed money of Rs.5.0 lakhs was donated by Sri Mullapudi Harischandra Prasad.Kakinada is a well known education centre with the full range of educational institutions.

Dr. M.V.Krishnarao mooted the idea of a private medical college, he was a minister of Education in the cabinet of Sri Rajaji in the composite Madras state. Colonel Dr.D.S.Raju, who was a personal physician of Sri Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and later Deputy Minister of Defence and Health in the cabinet of Sri Jawaharlal Nehru joined him and lent his hand. The final hurdle was cleared when Sri Mullapudi Harischandra Prasad donated the seed money required.

Sri Basudeva Narayana was the first Principal, The college started on 17 September 1958 with the introductory speech of Dr V S Krishna, Vice chancellor of Andhra University, followed by the first lecture delivered by Sri Gorti Sankarabhanu, of the Chemistry department

Dr Hari Rao of Anatomy, Dr Ramdas of Physiology, and Dr Narasimha Rao of Biochemistry were legendary figures who inspired the students with their knowledge, teaching skills, and passion towards their subject and were role models to the fresh teenagers who embarked on the challenging journey of a demanding profession. Family members of Dr Narasimharao instituted a Gold medal 'Dr P Narsimharao and Dr P Indira Devi Prize in Biochemistry', to be awarded to the college topper in Biochemistry in the university exam.

Late Dr Suresh (1969) did the ground work of collecting data and organizing it along with Dr Chakrarao. Dr Tagore (1971), Dr G S Murthy (1974), Dr Ravi Vadrevu (1975), and Dr Giri G (1974) are permanent fixtures in all Ramcosa activities. Dr Y S Kamalendranadh (1973) and Dr V Satyadev (1969) are the 'literary' supports. Dr Satyadev is a caretaker of the History of the college and Ramcosa and oversaw the construction of Pokala Sridevi and Nagendrarao Memorial building - The Golden jubilee library building, along with Dr Murthy Mutyala. He was also instrumental in the installation of Saraswati and Dhanvantari statues in the college campus and their maintenance. Dr Rao Rangarao (1960) and Dr MSPLN Raju (1968) are real sources of encouragement and advise in the Ramcosa in all it's meetings and Reunions.

Sri Samavedam Janakirama Sastry - English lecturer was instrumental in including the inscription 'Sarve santu niraamayaah' - meaning, let everybody be healthy, in our college emblem. Dr Sankara Bhanu's Chemistry lectures are very very interesting. Gowrilingam garu and Raju garu are student friendly lecturers. Anatomy embalmist Mr Jagannadham and campus Jamedar Mr Prabhakara rao are as old as the college and endeared themselves to the students by helping them.

Dr PBN Gopal (1978) is a renowned Transplant Anaesthetist in Hyderabad and is the founder director of the successful Axon Anaesthesia associates there. Dr Nagarjuna kumar (1978) is an accomplished Gastro enterologist in Hyderabad, and Dr A Aditya Satya Prasanna (1997, and son of our beloved Anatomy teacher Dr Reddy Naidu garu, 1969) is a young and upcoming Gastroenterologist in Kakinada, who is making waves with his adoption of the latest technology and techiques in the field. Dr DSVL Narasimham (1979) and Dr Tirumala Prasad (1978) are well known surgeons in Kakinada and Vijayanagaram. They are known not only for their surgical skill but also for their academics. Dr Chodisetti Subbarao (1978) and Dr IK Raju (1977) are accomplished Urologists in Vizag.

Dr Karri Ramareddy (1969) is a multi-faceted genius, an avid Psychiatrist, holds many degrees in varied fields, a popular writer, and a BC Roy awardee. Dr Krishnarao KKV (1971) set up the first cooperative Diagnostic lab in Kakinada with high standards and a harbinger of many that followed.
